Isa.41:15-16, “Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills chaff. You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: you shall rejoice in the Lord, and glory in the Holy One of Israel.”
The whirlwind anointing is an intercessory enablement to issue prophetic declarations from an elevated perspective of being seated in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph.2:6). Here, vision is imparted to see the eternal purposes of God and then use Father’s language calling those things which are not as though they were (Rom. 4:17), so they become! Being properly positioned is the first and primary requirement of intercessors. This positioning is putting on the mind of Christ, not being influenced by the temporary, illusionary realm where Satan manipulates life as a puppet master (2 Cor.4:18).
Jesus demonstrated dominion to His disciples when He cursed the fig tree and when asked about it, He said, “Have faith in God (or have God’s kind of faith). For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mk. 11:22-24).
The whirlwind anointing is a result of “believing with one’s heart the covenant promises of God”; then "speaking them into the situations of life.” The “whirlwind” of Holy Spirit is then released to “carry away” and “scatter” the results of the curse in life’s circumstances. It also releases all the resources of heaven in the situation as the ministry of angels is activated through the spoken words of our mouths: Ps.103: 20, “Bless the Lord, you His angels. Who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.” Angels heed the “voice of God’s word” by listening to what comes out of our mouths – and they respond to words of faith and prophetic declarations authored by Holy Spirit speaking through us!
Not only have we been armed with Father’s language, but we also have Holy Spirit’s language when we don’t know how to pray as we ought. Holy Spirit Himself uses our physical facilities to release God’s will into the earth. This is the most powerful spiritual weapon we possess! You see Holy Spirit doesn’t have to rely on our understanding and limited faith which may well impede His will. We don’t usually know what Holy Spirit is declaring and our limited faith will not get in His way. Satan doesn’t understand either and he can’t ambush or detour Holy Spirit’s plans! Why do you think so much controversy exists in the church about this? Satan uses a religious spirit to try to stop believers from using this power weapon by saying Holy Spirit’s language is of Satan. Imagine that!
Receive the whirlwind anointing and begin to release God’s purposes in earth. We’ve come into a kairos (God-appointed) time - to begin the assault on enemy strongholds. You’re in charge of the air war. Let’s release true SHOCK and AWE on the enemy and step into our present assignment to destroy the works of the devil (1 Jn:3:8; 1 Jn. 4:17). Amen.
